Two Steps from Hell

Об исполнителе: Коллектив Two Steps from Hell только на первый взгяд выглядит неопытным новичком на trailer music сцене. Да, он был основан в феврале 2006 года, но в его активе уже 10 альбомов, а на подходе одиннадцатый.
Его основатели и композиторы - Томас Бергерсен (Thomas Bergersen) и Ник Феникс (Nick Phoenix). Первый долгое время писал музыку для радио и телевидения, делал аранжировки для полнометражного кино («Гарфилд 1-2», «История Золушки»). Второй работал в другом trailer music коллективе - Music Junkies, а в прошлом году записал совместно с известными электронщиками BT альбом «300 Years Later». И если Бергенсен спец по оркестровкам, симфонической музыке и хору, то Феникс явно больше тяготеет к электронике, гитарному року и индастриелу. Похоже, что именно в сочетании их пристрастий и скрыт секрет успеха их совместного творчества.
Так же как и большинство коллективов этого жанра, Two Steps from Hell не продаёт свою музыку простым слушателям. Однако за два года они успели приобрести такую популярность, что не могут больше игнорировать пожелания многочисленных поклонников и обещают выпустить в широкую продажу сборник своих лучших вещей.
Обложки альбомов Two Steps from Hell традиционно оформляет художник Стивен Гилмор (Steven Gilmore). Он так же оформлял диски Игги Попа, BT, Nikelback, Public Enemy, Static-X и коллекционное издание саундтрека к «Властелину колец». Помните постеры «Смертельной битвы» (Mortal Kombat) с потрескавшимся драконом? Это тоже работа Гилмора.


Сильная оркестровая музыка с мощным хором от которого мурашки бегают по всему телу.
